Ninja Circuit
Taking two elements, strength and balance, from an original haiku, I created a 12" by 14" plot and 1:4 scale model for a ninja training circuit along a river. Each plot contained a private sleeping quarter for one ninja, a public training machine, and a private meditation tower facing the sacred tree for the plot.
The strong diagonals created by the triangular structures signify strength in the design while the training machine and sleeping quarter are opposite each other on the cantilevered platform creating balance. The meditation tower sits in the middle of both structures across the sacred tree also creating a sense of balance.
